Invitation to the BovReg workshop on the societal and ethical dimensions of innovations in livestock breeding
Can a diverse group of stakeholders have a fruitful dialogue about the societal and ethical dimensions of innovations in livestock breeding? Let’s find out! In this workshop, breeding companies, animal scientists, policy makers, and NGOs will first be introduced to a newly developed ethical tool and will then apply it in discussions about real developments in breeding. This should not only lead to a valuable exchange of views, but also serves to test the tool, which will be made available free of charge by the beginning of 2024.
