Upcoming EuroFAANG (https://eurofaang.eu/) virtual training course on best practice for submitting experiment and analysis data to FAANG!

The free virtual zoom course will take place on Thursday 7th April 13.00-17.00 GMT, 14.00-18.00 CET, 07:00-11:00 CDT.

 
The training is funded by the GENE-SWitCH (https://www.gene-switch.eu/) project, and will include demonstrations from the EuroFAANG Data Coordination Centre at EMBL’s European Bioinformatics Institute on:
  • Preparing, validating and submitting experiment and analysis data to the FAANG Data Portal and public archives.
  • Submitting your own custom FAANG track hubs to the Ensembl and UCSC genome browsers through the Track Hub Registry.
  • Best practices for data openness and reproducibility.
 
The workshop will also include a seminar and demonstration from BovReg project colleagues from the Centre for Genomic Regulation on the key role that nf-core (https://nf-co.re/) plays in standardising FAANG data analysis and promoting reproducibility.
The training workshop is free and open to all EuroFAANG and FAANG project members!
