Task 6.2 | Reporter gene screen for candidate regulatory variant validation | Task Leader: Dominique Rocha (INRAE) | INRAE |
Task 6.3 | Cell-based in vitro validation of functional variants | Task Leader: Veronique Blanquet (UNILIM) | UNILIM, FBN, IGHZ PAN |
Task 6.4 | Validation of promoter/enhancer interactions | Task Leader: Hiroaki Taniguchi (IGHZ PAN) | IGHZ PAN, INRAE |
WP6 objectives
WP6 will functionally validate (i) key candidate regulatory sequences and (ii) variants associated with disease resistance, biological efficiency and robustness, identified in WP2 and WP4, respectively. Regulatory element interactions and the relation between selected candidate variants will be assessed with different environmental stressor(s). Results from WP6 will help prioritize the genetic variants used in bd-GP tools (WP7).
