EuroFAANG session – 31st August – 74th EAAP Lyon

The EuroFAANG Session was organised at the 74th EAAP Conference Lyon, held on 26 August – 1 September 2023.

The EuroFAANG Session titled: “EuroFAANG: genotype-to-phenotype research across Europe and beyond” was held on August 31, 2023.

Presentations:

• Renzo Bonifazi (WUR) – Biology-driven genomic predictions for dry matter intake within and across-breeds using WGS data
• Gabriel Costa Monteiro Moreira (LIEGE) – Newly annotated genomic features for biology-driven genome selection: the BovReg contribution
• Christa Kühn (FBN): The path from functional annotation towards improved genomic prediction in cattle
